Vaccinations

Make sure your vaccinations are up to date

Serious, life-threatening illnesses such as meningitis, septicaemia and measles often spread at the start of a new term when lots of people mix together, so it’s really important that you’re fully vaccinated.

It’s important to make sure your vaccinations are up to date.

Make sure you’ve had the following:

  • MenACWY – protecting against four common strains causing meningitis and septicaemia
  • MMR (two doses) – protecting against measles, mumps, rubella
  • HPV – protecting against cervical and other cancers caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV) plus genital warts
  • Flu and COVID-19 – if you’re eligible.
